The Car Park Utilises ANPR and 24hr CCTV.
The car park is open and chargeable to all vehicles, all year round. It is open from 6.00am to 9pm April to October 31st, then 6.30am to 6pm during the Winter months. PLEASE RESPECT THE AREA. Take your rubbish home and pick up after your dog!
From October 1st, the car park becomes PAY AT THE MACHINES ONLY
Both machines now issue a ticket with all transactions, listing the registration and the amount of time you have purchased. If no ticket has been issued, no payment has been made.
Machine payments do not affect season tickets holders, please carry on as normal.
**Please Be Aware**
The Height Barrier (2.2m) is now a permanent fixture.
If your vehicle is taller than this, there is no access. It is clearly signposted at the top of the approach road. Schools, Activity Centres, Universities and Coach Companies must prebook with at least 24 hours notice and will only have height access until September 30th while the car park is still manned. From October 1st through to April 1st there is no access to tall vehicles.
PLEASE NOTE: If no booking is made, we cannot park you.
Parking
The car park is always manned, everyday, from April 1st through to September 30th, between 9am and 5pm, during these times please pay the attendant at the hut on arrival. PLEASE READ YOUR TICKET CAREFULLY. This outlines some important information for you.
Tickets issued by the attendant are not transferable and only valid until your vehicle leaves the premises. If you return later in the day it will be chargeable, please pay either the attendant, or the machine if no attendant present. This is explained on your daily ticket.
Please do not park without a valid ticket. The machines can take cash, contactless, Apple Pay, Android Pay and you can also pay by telephone and by using the JustPark app.
We ask that there is strictly no overnight parking and no camping, gates are LOCKED at 9pm daily.
Daily Parking Tariffs 2026

Cars/ Vans / Day Vans, - £ 4.80
Coaches / Buses - £ 10.00 (strictly by appointment only from April 1st to September 30th )
Mini Buses - £ 6.50 ( strictly by appointment only from April 1st to September 30th)
Motorcycles - Free
The car park is a set flat fee only, there is NO hourly parking charge available.
The car park is chargeable at all times. If the attendant is not in the hut, please pay at the machine. As above, ALL returns are chargeable!
Annual Permits go on sale from March 1st. We cap the amount of permits we sell, so they do sell out quickly. You can purchase these by bank transfer, email! or by secure link to your mobile device, Just get in touch, our email is [email protected]
***Announcement***
Annual permits for the 26/27 season will go on sale March 1st 2026, these are sold on a first come first served basis. The cost this year is £60.00. Unfortunately an increase this year due to the Government's severe increase in rates, in our case a 100% increase on the car park with no reduction as car parks are exempt, the daily charge will increase by 30p daily from February 28th 2026. The daily rate will now be £4.80. Please be aware, we do not offer an hourly fee, this said, we are still the cheapest car park on this coastline with superb access.
